Strap on your snowshoes and follow your expert local guide on a 3-hour hike through Lapland’s pristine winter wilderness, climbing steadily to the summit of Kellostapuli at 500 metres. The views from the top stretch across the Ylläs fells and snowy forests in every direction — a reward that more than earns the climb. Back at the Ylläs Nature Centre, warm up with a tasting of four different locally smoked fish — a true Finnish Lapland delicacy — before exploring the Kellokas museum and its engaging exhibitions on the traditions, daily life and cultural heritage of the Ylläs village community.
