NORTHWIND LAPLAND is a Destination Management Company located in Ylläs, 30 minutes away from Kittilä International Airport, created and operated by three locals born and raised in Ylläsjärvi and a French man who has lived in Lapland since 2004.
We personally conduct snowmobile safaris, snowshoeing, forest skiing, northern lights tours, ice fishing, and other cultural activities with locals (tasting natural products, cooking, food smoking, etc.).
We have selected the best local companies for your reindeer farm visits and husky safaris, locals for whom animal welfare is primordial.
We can take care of your accommodation and transfers from Kittilä airport and even car rental.

Ylläs is located 35 km away from Kittilä International airport and 35 km away from Kolari railway station. Airport bus transportation is available as well as private transfers and car rental.
There are direct flights to Kittilä from France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Italy and Switzerland throughout the winter, daily connection to Helsinki all year-around and direct flights from Germany and Switzerland during the summer months.
Our office is located in the heart of Ylläsjärvi village, close to the lake. We are at the southern gate of the magnificent Pallas-Ylläs Tunturi National Park.

Nous organisons vos locations de voiture ou transferts en bus, votre hébergement, et nous faisons nous même les safaris motoneige, ferme à rennes, chiens de traineaux, sorties raquettes, ski de forêt, aurores boréales, pêche sur glace et activités culturelles avec les locaux (dégustations de produits de la nature, cuisine, fumage du poisson etc).
Vous n`avez qu`à acheter vos billets d`avion pour Kittilä, on s`occupe du reste, sur mesure, en petits groupes, pas de tourisme de masse chez nous!
Nous commençons tout juste notre société (mais avec derrière nous 20 ans d`expérience) et nos activités seront prêtes à être publiées courant février.
