After a thorough safety and driving session on our own training track, the group heads out into the wild: across frozen lakes, through snow-laden birch and pine forests, over open marshlands where the horizon stretches further than you’d believe. At the halfway stop, warm up with a hot drink and biscuits while your guide shares stories of Lappish life and what these snowmobiles really mean to people who live this far north.
