There are national parks and then there is Pallas-Yllästunturi — one of Finland’s oldest, wildest and most beautiful protected landscapes, stretching across the western fells of Lapland in an unbroken chain of open tundra, birch ravines and silent wilderness.
North Wind Lapland’s Multi-Day Adventure takes you into the heart of this landscape on a guided programme of 2 to 5 days, tailored to your group’s fitness, interests and available time.
Each day, you hike fell ridges and forest trails with a local expert guide who knows this terrain intimately — its wildlife, its plants, its hidden viewpoints and its history.
You sleep in authentic wilderness huts maintained by Finland’s national parks authority, waking each morning to the sound of silence and the smell of the north.
This is a genuine expedition — not a resort experience. The distances are real, the terrain is wild and the rewards are proportional. You will see Finland in a way that very few international travellers ever do: from the inside, on foot, at the pace of the landscape itself.
The programme is flexible by design. Prefer a 2-day introduction to fell hiking? Done. Want 5 days deep in the national park with multiple hut stays? We build that too.
All equipment, guiding and logistics are included — you just need to arrive.
