Discover the winter landscapes of Ylläs from a completely new angle — on two wheels. Electric fatbikes combine wide, grippy tyres with a smooth electric assist, making it genuinely easy to ride through snowy forest trails, along frozen lakesides and over gently rolling terrain, even if you’ve never touched a bike in winter before.
Departing from the village of Ylläsjärvi, your guide leads the group along groomed winter bike trails through peaceful pine forests with open views across the Ylläs fells. Halfway through, we stop at a local café for a warm drink and a pastry before the return ride. A refreshing, active and slightly unexpected way to explore Arctic Finland.
No winter cycling experience required. Minimum age 12. Maximum 8 participants. No departure if temperature drops below –20°C and if trails conditions are too difficult (e.g. after a heavy snowstorm).
