Here are few examples of private experience we are happy to organize for you.
We will leave in the morning for a trek by forest skis, easy to use and allowing us to go out off the beaten tracks!
We will ski about 4-5 hours with a knowledgeable, professional wilderness guide eager to teach you about the local fauna and flora, check the animal tracks and maybe spot a willow grouse, a moose or a mountain hare. In the afternoon we will arrive to the hunter’s cabin where we will spend the night. But before that, we will warm up the wood heated sauna, go roll in the snow and make food in the kota.
The next morning we will head back to the village, full of unforgettable memories!
Pallas-Ylläs National Park is the favorite National Park from Finnish people, no wonder why! Its magnificent fjells are running for 120 km from Ylläs to Hetta, offering breathtaking views and pure arctic conditions.
On this arctic journey we will leave from Pallas visitor center and head North towards Hetta, where our 60-70 km trek will end. In between, we will spend 3 nights in 3 different wilderness refuges with all the basic, necessary confort: mattresses, blankets, pillows, firewood, stove, gaz cooker, outdoor toilets etc.
Depending of the weather, we will ski on top of the hills or down to the valley – both enchanting tracks with their own charms – and feel like real arctic explorer!

Snowmobiling is a nice way to visit the arctic! On longer snowmobile experiences, getting away from the villages, the tracks are narrower, less driven, adventurous…
We will leave in the morning from Ylläsjärvi and head towards the Swedish border, even cross the river marking the international line between the two countries. Then we will drive toward our wilderness cabin where we will warm up the sauna, dig holes in the river for water and enjoy a peaceful evening in the middle of the nature, by a frozen river.
